The State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board (CLIB) requires 14 hours of continuing education during the time your contractors license is valid to allow you to renew your license. If the board does not have a record of you completing this education requirement, you will receive a letter notifying you of your shortage instead of your renewed license. The CLIB has approved many courses to fulfill this requirement dealing with contractor regulations, running a business, contracts and a wide variety of others.
API Processing has chosen to offer courses that include Business Record Keeping, Business Structures, Taxes, Billing & Estimating & Collecting, and Accounting for Contractors among others. New courses will be added as we develop them and have them approved by the CLIB.
